Plaintiffs Drop Suit Over Infected Becton Syringe

Law360 (November 27, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- Seven plaintiffs who sued Becton Dickinson & Co. and a McKesson Corp. subsidiary after losing at least part of their eyesight from a contaminated syringe have dismissed their product liability suit with prejudice against the companies.

The plaintiffs, Becton Dickinson and McKesson Medical-Surgical Inc. on Monday lodged a joint motion to dismiss the product liability suit with prejudice in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
