NRP Buys $310M Soda Ash Mining Interest From Anadarko

Law360, Houston (January 24, 2013, 4:56 PM EST) -- Houston-based Natural Resource Partners LP has acquired a hefty stake in the world's fifth-largest producer of soda ash from subsidiaries of Anadarko Petroleum Corp. for $310 million, diversifying its investment in mineral reserves and providing additional stability for shareholders, the company announced Thursday.
