Talks Stall In Pfizer’s Nigerian Drug Trial Case

Law360, New York (November 27, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- Settlement negotiations between Pfizer Inc. and the Nigerian government have reportedly hit a roadblock in an ongoing case accusing the drug giant of carrying out illegal clinical trials that killed or disabled children.

Government lawyer Mariam Uwais said Tuesday that the out-of-court settlement talks had been suspended.
