Pa. Landowners' Oil, Gas Royalties Class Action Cut Down

Law360, New York (January 25, 2013, 3:35 PM EST) -- A Pennsylvania federal judge on Thursday cleared Energy Corp. of America of most claims in a class action alleging it bilked landowners on royalties owed under oil and gas leases, saying the company properly allocated payments for well activities and proceeds from third-party purchasers.
