Calif. Trade Mission To Open Shanghai Post

Law360, New York (January 25, 2013, 5:53 PM EST) -- A trade mission from California will head to China in April to carry out the state’s plans announced last year to reopen a trade and investment office in Shanghai, Gov. Jerry Brown said Thursday.

The mission is targeted at boosting direct investment in California and helping it build ties with the world’s second-largest economy, according to a statement by Brown, who last year signed into law A.B. 2012 to re-establish California’s international trade offices.
