Cathode Ray Makers Face Price-Fixing Class Action

Law360, New York (November 28, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- A slew of major international players in the cathode-ray tube industry were hit Tuesday with a putative class action accusing them of inflating and fixing prices for their products.

The suit, filed by Nathan Muchnick Inc. on behalf of all other direct purchasers of CRTs, said the consolidated pool of CRT makers — among them Chunghwa Picture Tubes Ltd., LG Electronics Inc., Matsushita Electric Industrial Co.
