Shell, Kinder Morgan Team Up On LNG Exports

Law360, New York (January 28, 2013, 5:58 PM EST) -- Royal Dutch Shell PLC made a play to join the emerging U.S. liquefied natural gas export market Monday, striking a deal with a Kinder Morgan Inc. unit to build a terminal in eastern Georgia to ship domestic natural gas overseas.

Shell and Southern Liquefaction Co. LLC say they’re planning to form a limited liability company to build liquefaction and export facilities at Southern’s existing Elba Island LNG Terminal outside Savannah, Ga.
