Kaye Scholer To Move Back-Office Staff To Tallahassee

Law360, Miami (January 29, 2013, 7:59 PM EST) -- New York-based Kaye Scholer LLP is the latest law firm to decide to centralize administrative staff in a smaller city, announcing plans Tuesday to open an operations center in Tallahassee, Fla.

The firm considered several locations but ultimately selected Tallahassee for its quality of life, affordable housing and proximity to state government and major universities such as Florida State University and Florida A&M University, according to a statement from the Greater Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce and the Economic Development Council of Tallahassee/Leon County, which helped the city woo the firm.
