Secretary's Case Against Fordham Revived

Law360, New York (November 28, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit has dealt Fordham University a setback in its discrimination battle with an executive secretary, ruling that her allegations of a hostile work environment merit further scrutiny.

On Wednesday, the Second Circuit overturned the district court's earlier dismissal of Eleanora Patane's claims. The court ordered the lower court to re-examine a handful of the plaintiff's nine charges.
