Ryanair Files Fourth Suit Against EU

Law360 (November 29, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- Discount airline Ryanair has continued its crusade against the European Commission, filing yet another suit against regulators accusing them of allegedly overlooking illegal state aid given by member states to national carriers.

Ryanair said Thursday that it would file a suit in the European Court of First Instance accusing the commission of failing to reprimand Italy for giving illegal state aid to Alitalia subsidiary Volare.
