Wal-Mart Failed To Honor Gas Discounts, Suit Says

Law360, Miami (January 30, 2013, 4:24 PM EST) -- A Florida woman alleged Friday in a putative class action that Wal-Mart Stores Inc. violated the Florida Deceptive and Unfair Practices Act by not providing advertised discounts to customers using Wal-Mart gift cards for gasoline purchases at its superstores.

Robin Campbell claims she bought Wal-Mart gift cards in March 2012 to use for gas purchases after seeing advertisements saying she could save 3 cents per gallon at the stores' gas stations. But three times at two of the chain's Florida stores, she saw on her receipts...
