DOJ Sues To Block $20B AB InBev-Modelo Merger

Law360, New York (January 31, 2013, 12:53 PM EST) -- The U.S. Department of Justice sued Thursday to block Anheuser-Busch InBev NV's $20.1 billion bid for fellow brewer Grupo Modelo SAB de CV, warning that the deal could leave consumers paying more for beer by hindering competition in an already concentrated market.
