Senate Passes Short-Term Debt Ceiling Fix

Law360, New York (January 31, 2013, 8:01 PM EST) -- The U.S. Senate voted Thursday to raise the debt ceiling until May, following the House of Representatives' lead in decoupling battles over the debt ceiling and sequestration, a series of automatic budget cuts that would fall heavily on the U.S. Department of Defense and government contractors.
