Law360, New York (February 1, 2013, 6:59 PM EST) -- Cleary Gottlieb white collar criminal defense lawyer Joon H. Kim is moving from his white shoe practice to the U.S. attorney's office in Manhattan as chief counsel, returning to the office were he worked from 2000 until 2006, his law firm and the government said Friday.
Kim, who speaks fluent Korean and previously worked at the office now run by U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara, wanted to return to public service, the sources said. A start date for his new role was not given.
