GOP Sen. Looks To Redefine Clean Energy In New Blueprint

Law360, New York (February 4, 2013, 7:53 PM EST) -- The Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee’s top Republican unveiled a set of energy initiatives Monday, calling for expanded fossil fuel production, redefining clean energy and creating a new trust for advanced energy technology.

In a 121-page blueprint, Sen. Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska, laid out a sweeping set of proposals she argued could bring down the cost of energy in the U.S. and improve energy security if implemented by 2020.
