BP Flouted State Gas Tank Safety Regs, Calif. AG Suit Says

Law360, New York (February 4, 2013, 7:07 PM EST) -- California's state and county officials are accusing BP PLC units of violating state hazardous materials laws by tampering with leak detection devices and failing to sufficiently maintain and inspect gasoline storage tanks at more than 780 service stations, according to a suit lodged in state court on Friday.
