Bharti Airtel Buys Out Alcatel In India Telecom JV

Law360, New York (February 5, 2013, 3:23 PM EST) -- Internet and phone service provider Bharti Airtel Ltd. is buying out an Alcatel-Lucent SA unit from a joint venture the two have had in India in order to gain better control of its fixed line and broadband networks, the company said Tuesday.
