AUO Appeals Let 9th Circ. Revisit Antitrust Precedent

Law360, New York (February 5, 2013, 7:34 PM EST) -- AU Optronics Corp. and two executives told the Ninth Circuit on Tuesday that their price-fixing convictions should be overturned based on the appeals court's own long-standing precedent that the per se antitrust standard doesn't apply to foreign conduct, an argument that could give the appeals court a chance to refine its controversial 1996 decision.
