Wal-Mart Could Tip Scales For Federal GMO Labeling

Law360, New York (February 5, 2013, 8:37 PM EST) -- With Wal-Mart Stores Inc. and several food industry giants reportedly considering throwing their weight behind federal regulations for the labeling of genetically engineered food, attorneys say the proposal could garner a new look from Washington and, if adopted, preempt growing litigation claiming the companies misleadingly label their products as all-natural.
