Philly Seeks $6.6M In Back Taxes From Yuengling

Law360, New York (February 6, 2013, 7:32 PM EST) -- The city of Philadelphia has filed a lawsuit against D.G. Yuengling & Son Inc. alleging the brewery owes the city more than $6.6 million in back taxes that date back to 2008.

Philadelphia sued Yuengling on Jan. 30 in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas, alleging the company failed to file returns under the city Business and Income Receipts Tax between 2008 and 2011. The city also seeks fines against the owner and president and another Yuengling officer.
