NRC Accepts First New Nuclear Reactor Application

Law360 (November 30, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission on Thursday accepted NRG Energy Inc.’s application to build and operate two new nuclear reactors in South Texas, marking the first time the NRC has accepted a new combined Construction and Operating License application for review.
