Microsoft, Symantec Disable Massive Malware Operation

Law360, Chicago (February 6, 2013, 7:47 PM EST) -- Microsoft Corp. and Symantec Corp. have obstructed a malicious software operation designed to steal personal information from unsuspecting online users and fraudulently charge businesses for advertisement clicks, the assistant general counsel for Microsoft's digital crimes unit said Wednesday.
