CORRECTED: High Court Scraps 2nd Appeal Over NLRB Recess Appointees

Law360, Los Angeles (February 6, 2013, 10:26 PM EST) -- The U.S. Supreme Court on Wednesday denied a nursing home company's second bid to halt an order requiring it to reinstate striking nursing home center workers in Connecticut, despite its claims that the controversy over the National Labor Relations Board recess appointments should delay the ruling.

The decision comes just two days after Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg denied the same petition by HealthBridge Management LLC. HealthBridge subsequently redirected its application to Justice Antonin Scalia, who referred it to the court.
