Ford, Mazda Win Defect Row In 'Unusual' Expertless Trial

Law360, New York (February 7, 2013, 3:08 PM EST) -- A Virgin Islands jury on Wednesday gave Ford Motor Co. and Mazda Motors of America Inc. a victory in a case where the plaintiff went to trial without an expert to back up his claim that a defective seat belt caused head injuries suffered in an accident.
