HHS Improperly Let Ariz. Medicaid Copays Rise, Judge Says

Law360, New York (February 8, 2013, 1:44 PM EST) -- An Arizona federal judge on Thursday ruled that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services had wrongly allowed the state’s Medicaid program to increase copay rates on a class of low-income residents beginning in 2010, ordering HHS to re-examine its approval of the program implementing the hike.
