Marguerite, Siemens Grab Stakes In $1.7B German Wind Farm

Law360, New York (February 8, 2013, 3:33 PM EST) -- An investor consortium, including The Marguerite Fund, Siemens Financial Services Inc. and Danish pension funds, have nabbed the majority interests in a €1.3 billion ($1.7 billion) German offshore wind farm, paving the way for it to start construction and come online by 2015, according to Friday announcements.

Marguerite, Siemens, Industriens Pension and PKA A/S each will take equal 22.5 percent stakes in the farm, with developer WPD AG keeping the remaining 10 percent share of the project. While financial information for Marguerite and Siemens was not disclosed,...
