Prop. 65 Reform, Offered As Panacea, Could Prove Unpopular

Law360, New York (February 8, 2013, 7:53 PM EST) -- A California lawmaker has floated a bill that would give businesses two weeks to fix safety violations spotted by plaintiffs and avoid litigation based on the state's list of dangerous chemicals, but experts doubt the attorney general's ability to enforce the proposal and wonder whether even reform-hungry companies would back it.
