Judges Want Details On Post-Merger Central Hudson Board

Law360, New York (February 8, 2013, 7:08 PM EST) -- New York judges on Thursday asked Fortis Inc. and Central Hudson Gas & Electric Corp. for more details about how an independent board of Central Hudson directors would be constituted if its $1.5 billion purchase of the utility is approved by the state.

Administrative Law Judges David Prestemon and Rafael Epstein, who must give a final sign-off on a late January settlement between New York Public Service Commission staff and the two power companies, set a Feb. 22 deadline for the companies' reply.
