Pepper Hamilton Leaked Info In Libel Row, Union Chief Says

Dougherty sued Pepper Hamilton LLP in Pennsylvania court Monday, alleging its attorneys revealed confidential information from a 2006 federal investigation to improperly gain an advantage in Dougherty’s ongoing defamation suit against its client, The Philadelphia Inquirer.

Dougherty, business manager for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 98, claims that Pepper Hamilton, which represented him from October 2003 to January 2007, revealed previously sealed information from a grand jury subpoena and the FBI's 2006 search of his home.
