Good FCPA Compliance Plans Can Halt Prosecutions: DOJ

Law360, Washington (February 12, 2013, 6:54 PM EST) -- A U.S. Department of Justice official said Tuesday that robust corporate compliance programs can be used by companies to prevent Foreign Corrupt Practices Act prosecution in favor of alternative resolutions with investigators, but noted many companies haven't put muscle behind the programs.
