Discrimination Case Against DLA Piper Dismissed

Law360, New York (December 4, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- A federal judge has dismissed a discrimination and retaliation case brought by a former DLA Piper LLP attorney against the firm, saying that the plaintiff, who is representing herself, has repeatedly failed to follow court orders.

Judge Lewis A. Kaplan of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York granted DLA Piper’s motion for summary judgment on Monday. The judge dismissed Charlene Morisseau's complaint after she repeatedly missed court deadlines.
