Ill. Town's Ex-Comptroller Gets 19-Plus Years For $53M Fraud

Law360, Chicago (February 14, 2013, 3:51 PM EST) -- A former official of Dixon, Ill., was sentenced to 19 years and seven months in prison Thursday after she admitted to stealing more than $53 million from the city over the course of roughly two decades to fund her horse farm and personal expenses.
