ITC Kills Duty Orders On German, Korean Steel Products

Law360, New York (February 15, 2013, 5:17 PM EST) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission on Friday revoked duty orders on imports of corrosion-resistant carbon steel flat products from South Korea and Germany, finding that lifting the orders probably won’t hurt the U.S. steel industry in the near future.

The ITC said its decision axes the existing countervailing and anti-dumping duty orders in place on the steel products from South Korea and the anti-dumping duty order on imports of the merchandise from Germany.
