Court To Review DRAM Makers’ New Class Objections

Law360 (December 5, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- The judge presiding over the antitrust multidistrict litigation against DRAM manufacturers will consider the defendants’ new arguments challenging the proposed class.

Although Judge Phyllis J. Hamilton technically denied the memory chip manufacturers’ motion to submit a supplemental brief opposing a bid for class certification, she ruled Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California that she would still reflect on their objections that the class definition includes resellers’ claims for some purposes but not others.
