Pinterest's Value Surges To $2.5B With New Funding Bump

Law360, New York (February 21, 2013, 4:19 PM EST) -- Online photo scrapbooking site Pinterest Inc. has picked up $200 million in its latest fundraising round, which was led by new investor Valiant Capital Management LP and which brings the company's valuation at $2.5 billion, the company confirmed to Law360 on Thursday.

The latest capital injection, which started receiving buzz Wednesday, also included repeat backers Andreessen Horowitz, Bessemer Venture Partners and FirstMark Capital, according to a statement from Pinterest.
