FEC Asks DC Circ. To Back Contractor Political-Donation Ban

Law360, New York (February 22, 2013, 8:56 PM EST) -- The Federal Election Committee on Wednesday urged the D.C. Circuit court to uphold a statute that prevents federal contractors from donating to political candidates and parties, saying the law is necessary to fight corruption in government contracting.
