Morgan Stanley Whistleblower Also Targets FINRA In New Suit

Law360, New York (February 22, 2013, 10:18 PM EST) -- A former Morgan Stanley & Co LLC employee and whistleblower on Friday sued the banking giant and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority to reverse his $1.2 million loss in a case where he accused Morgan Stanley of retaliating against him for raising issues about its employee retirement plans.

In a complaint filed in New Jersey federal court, Mark Mensack claims Morgan Stanley and its brokerage arm, Morgan Stanley Smith Barney LLC, did not have the right to bring their claims against him before a FINRA panel...
