SEC Commissioner Advocates Exchange 'Kill Switch'

Law360, Washington (February 22, 2013, 6:37 PM EST) -- U.S. Securities and Exchange Commissioner Luis A. Aguilar on Friday urged the regulator to make use of so-called kill switches on exchanges to strengthen the capital market, citing his considerable concern that the current market structure only allows the economy to "lurch from one crisis to another."
