JPMorgan M&A Exec Named Cadwalader Vice Chairman

Law360, New York (February 25, 2013, 3:51 PM EST) -- The co-head of JPMorgan Chase & Co.'s North American mergers and acquisitions division is leaving to become the New York-based deputy chairman of Cadwalader Wickersham & Taft LLP, Cadwalader said Monday.

The hire of James Woolery, who has a longtime professional relationship with Cadwalader Chairman W. Christopher White, raises the possibility that Woolery could be in line to assume the chairmanship when White eventually steps down. Cadwalader's partnership unanimously elected Woolery to the newly created post, the law firm said.
