Korean Air Faces Price Fixing Probe In Australia

Law360 (December 7, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- After being fined $300 million by U.S. authorities, Korean Air Lines Co. Ltd is now being investigated for price-fixing by Australian authorities.

Australian sources report that Korean Air is trying to block the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission from obtaining sensitive documents in relation to the probe.

A report Friday in Australian daily The Age said the airline had argued before the Federal Court there that the ACCC couldn't force it to turn over confidential documents or raid its offices.
