Calif. Speeds CEQA Review For $1B NextEra Solar Project

Law360, San Diego (February 26, 2013, 7:10 PM EST) -- California Gov. Jerry Brown said Monday that he has allowed NextEra Energy Inc. to fast-track any suits brought under the California Environmental Quality Act over its $1 billion solar plant project, citing a 2011 law that lets developers of certain large-scale, job-creating and environmentally friendly projects speed through the review process.
