Surgeon Says DePuy Hip Implant Was Thoroughly Tested

Law360, Los Angeles (February 26, 2013, 8:01 PM EST) -- A hip surgeon testified Tuesday at a first-of-its-kind product liability trial that Johnson & Johnson subsidiary DePuy Inc. performed an "astounding" number of tests on its allegedly defective ASR XL metal hip implant, which was "state of the art" when it was designed in 2000.
