Judge Greenlights SEC Suit Against Fund Manager

Law360, New York (December 7, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- A San Francisco hedge fund manager accused of defrauding investors will have to defend himself in court, after a judge refused to throw out a suit filed against him by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

In a ruling handed down on Friday, Judge William Alsup of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California refused to grant a motion to dismiss filed by Alexander Trabulse, the former manager of Fahey Fund LP.
