DePuy Plaintiff's Metal Hip Didn't Need Replacing, Jury Hears

Law360, Los Angeles (February 27, 2013, 10:23 PM EST) -- A kidney doctor testifying Wednesday for Johnson & Johnson subsidiary DePuy Inc. in a first-of-its-kind product liability trial of a lawsuit brought by a retired prison guard said the plaintiff's kidney problems weren't caused by his ASR XL metal hip implant and its removal last year wasn't necessary.
