Martin & Jones Says Ex-Atty Can't Rejoin Smithfield Wage Row

Law360, New York (February 28, 2013, 1:52 PM EST) -- Martin & Jones PLLC urged a North Carolina federal judge Wednesday to reject a former associate’s bid to be appointed co-lead counsel in a class and collective action brought by Smithfield Packing Co. Inc. workers over allegedly unpaid hours, arguing there's no basis for supplanting the firm’s role as class counsel.
