Porsche 911s Recalled Over Possible Tailpipe Cracking

Law360, New York (February 28, 2013, 4:56 PM EST) -- Porsche Cars North America Inc. has recalled 2,263 sports cars because of a faulty exhaust tail pipe that could crack and fall off, creating a hazard for other vehicles on the road, the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration announced Wednesday.

The company said the tailpipes came with standard, not sport, exhaust systems on its 2012-2013 911 Carrera and 911 Carrera 4 models.
