Urban Outfitters Ends Suit Over Racy Pics Of Teen Model

By Bill Donahue (February 28, 2013, 7:24 PM EST) -- Urban Outfitters Inc. has settled a lawsuit claiming it violated the Lanham Act and state civil rights laws by selling T-shirts bearing racy photos of a then-15-year-old model, according to papers filed Thursday in New York federal court.

U.S. District Judge George B. Daniels signed off on a stipulated dismissal submitted by model Hailey Clauson, her parents, Urban Outfitters and clothing label Blood Is The New Black, which was also named as a defendant in the case. The notice did not elaborate on the terms of the settlement, other than to say it disposed all claims involved.
