Patton Boggs, Others Shoot Down Malpractice Suit With Gunn

Law360, New York (March 1, 2013, 4:18 PM EST) -- An Illinois federal judge on Thursday threw out a third-party complaint accusing Patton Boggs LLP, Barnes & Thornburg LLP and Edwards Wildman Palmer LLP of patent malpractice, finding the federal court system no longer has jurisdiction because of the U.S. Supreme Court’s ruling in Gunn v. Minton.
