AstraZeneca Appeals $12.9M Judgment In AWP Case

Law360, New York (December 11, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- Making good on its threat, AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals LP has mounted an appeal against a federal judge's order that it fork over $12.9 million to Massachusetts plaintiffs in the massive multidistrict litigation over average wholesale drug prices.

AstraZeneca filed notice of its appeal to the First Circuit on Monday, advising the Massachusetts district court that it would challenge the judgment entered against it last month.
