Dana Settles With Veyance Over Goodyear Claims

Law360, New York (December 11, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- After taking over $2.8 million of Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co.'s claims in Dana Corp.'s bankruptcy, Veyance Technologies Inc. has reached a deal with the beleaguered auto supplier to slash the amount owed by more than half.

In court documents filed Monday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York, attorneys for Veyance and Dana agreed to resolve Veyance's appeal of a May 30 order denying Goodyear's motion regarding two claims for $1.4 million apiece.
